NORAJUKU is a personal expression of nostalgia — shaped by culture, faith, and beauty — designed to bring a fresh sense of order into the spaces we live in.
The name has meaning at every level.
“Nor” means new in Armenian and light in Greek — two languages from my roots.
“Juku” is Japanese for study or learn. It reflects the purpose behind this work: to help others live with more intention and less clutter. What I call The Nora — a new rhythm, new order, and new calm.
I’m Nora Sana Roussakis — an evangelical Christian, quadrilingual stay-at-home mom, wife, and the founder of NORAJUKU. From Montreal’s Mile End to Brooklyn’s South Slope, I offer luxury home organizing, personal styling, and curated vintage fashion — all virtually or in person.
For over 20 years, I co-ran Chez Rose Marie Lingerie, a high-end boutique in Mile End with my mother. That’s where I developed my eye for detail and began to understand how style and peace of mind are connected. It wasn’t just about clothing — it was about helping a woman feel like herself again.
NORAJUKU comes from that same place:
