Nora will begin to define your personal style by reorganizing and sorting through your wardrobe and keeping only items that will help you achieve your new and improved personal style. She will style new looks from what is already in your closet and will take pictures of outfits for easy dressing. She will compile a detailed shopping list of recommended items to add to your closet, customized for your budget.
Create new outfits within your current wardrobe! Within this 3-hour session, Nora will come to your home and go through each and every piece in your closet. She will discuss how you currently wear items, give you new ideas on how to create different looks with what you have, and give you suggestions on pieces to “purge”. She will then reorganize your closet as we work, creating a system to help making putting outfits together easier on a daily basis. Session begins with a consultation where we get to know you, your style and your wardrobe; we’ll leave you with knowledge of the seasons biggest trends, an outfit list of looks created during our session, and a focused shopping list. As a personal stylist & shopper, she can help you be YOU.
Nora doesn’t possess magical powers for making order out of chaos—just a natural sense of organization, a lot of empathy, and a keen insight into the relationships between people and their “stuff.” As the Clutter Fairy, she offers organizing services and ongoing support to help clients conquer clutter and focus on what they really want to be doing. Living efficiently in her Brooklyn apartment for over a year after downsizing from a two story home has shaped her purging, organizing and decorating sensibilities. She is a modernist and minimalist and aims for simplicity, practicality, efficiency, style and a Zen-like atmosphere. She generally does not recommend buying fancy organizing products and prefers to rely on creative solutions using items her clients already have in their homes.
The Cutter Fairy Package works in 2 ways...
She can either consult with you, or come in and do the actual organizing alongside you.
1) Consultation: If you just want to know how to organize, want a plan and feel comfortable executing the plan on your own, then a 2-hr hour on-site diagnostics consultation may be for you. She will come to your home or office, take the tour, listen to your issues and budget and timing concerns and make recommendations on the spot. Then she will follow up by email within 24-48 hours with a written detailed actionable plan to accomplish your goals. The plan will include sources and estimated costs for any recommended purchases.
2) Actual Organizing: If you need the work done immediately, you might prefer to have me work alongside you to direct, help purge and create sustainable solutions and organizational systems. There is a 3-hour minimum for each organizing visit. Most jobs require 1-2 visits, although she does see some clients on a regular "tune-up" basis
